To Sleep – “làp” หลับ “nᴐ:n” นอน means to lie down “làp” หลับ means to sleep You can say “nᴐ:n” or “làp” when you want to say to sleep or you can say both word together“nᴐ:n-làp”.You cannot say “làp” if you just lie down.
