Classifier – tua tua is the classifier for animals. A classifier is a word that you put after the number of things, basically it’s a unit of measurement. In English you say”5 cats”,in Thai you can’t say “mԑ:w(cat) 5”.You would say“mԑ:w(cat) 5 tua”.All nouns have have classifiers. We use classifiers when talk about the quantity of something. To teach – sᴐ̌:n สอน   Phǒm sᴐ̌:n  pha:-sǎ: Thai káo. ผมสอนภาษาไทยเค้า I teach him Thai. To Sleep – “làp” หลับ “nᴐ:n” นอน means to lie down “làp” หลับ means to sleep You can say “nᴐ:n” or “làp” when you want to say to sleep or you can say both word together“nᴐ:n-làp”.You cannot say “làp” if you just lie down.
